Matthew 18: 21-35
Uncle Ben tells Peter Parker, “with great power comes great responsibility.” So often with blessings and gifts comes the need to respond. Two thousand years before the Spider Man film that quote came from was released, Jesus said something more profound about the gift of forgiveness. How often should we forgive? Once, three, five, seven times? Jesus says, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.” How do we live that out as a community emulating our gift of forgiveness from God himself?
