Have you ever been listening to the radio when a song from years ago suddenly plays—and before you know it, you’re singing along by the second line? That’s the power of immersion, repetition and memory. And it’s just as true with Scripture. When we return to the same passages again and again, the Bible becomes less like a textbook and more like a trusted friend. Familiar, intimate and alive.
That’s why each month, we focus on just one book of the Bible. We read or listen at our own pace—whatever fits our rhythm and season. When we reach the end, we simply begin again. No pressure, just immerse yourself in one book for a whole month. One book a month means that in six years, you won’t just have read the whole Bible—you’ll have soaked in it, lived with it, and let it shape you deeply. Join us this month and dive into God’s scriptures.
Our current book of the month is the first one below, with previous books following,

Sometimes we may be puzzled, but more often than not, we will see extra connections that may have gone unnoticed. This extra step is well worth the effort. Remember, these warning passages are supposed to make us a little uncomfortable. The warnings serve the purpose of showing that Jesus is the ultimate revelation of God.

Books

A new book (2026) by one of Max’s favourite theologians, The Vision of Ephesians. In just a few powerful pages, Tom Wright presents a sweeping panorama of the Christian gospel, tracing God’s redemptive plan from the creation of the world to the time when God will be ‘all in all’. At its core, the book highlights the transformative work of Jesus the Messiah and the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.
