I do hope you had a great weekend. I want to thank all those involved in
the organisation and attendance of our Easter Celebrations. It filled my
heart with joy to see so many regulars and new faces at the two services on
Sunday. They both felt joyous and filled with God’s Spirit. God is reaching
so many in Bedhampton through your service and prayers. That is something
to celebrate, which is our theme this weekend as we meet all together once
more for our annual service and meeting. We start with a Family Holy
Communion at St Nicholas’ at 10:30 am. This will be followed by tea,
coffee, cake and a bit of fun with the awards, finally leading into a brief
Annual Parochial Church Meeting. My goal is to finish at or before 12:30 pm
to get you home in time for lunch.
That is the important bit to note. We had planned to have a “bring your own
lunch”, but with the busyness of the last few weeks, the wardens and I have
decided to do that another time instead. So to be completely clear, there
will be an all-together service, cake and the APCM, but *no lunch*.
Once again, thank you for all you do to see God’s Kingdom come in
Bedhampton.
Regards, Max.
