Merry Christmas from Max and Suzy

Friends

Merry Christmas from Suzy and myself as we head into the day we celebrate
that the Light came into the world. We are so grateful for Jesus and all he
has done and continues to do for us and you. We are also immensely grateful
for being part of this family we call Bedhampton Parish and for your part
in that family, it wouldn’t be the same without you. 2024 has been a great
year for this parish family as we have seen God move in so many and seen
many grow in their discipleship. It has also been wonderful to see God
respond to our prayer for families and young people in particular. We can’t
wait to see what He will do in 2025.

Don’t forget this afternoon we have our dress-up Nativity Crib Service at
St Nicholas’ on Belmont Grove at 3pm. Join in with all the fun of a scratch
nativity and come dressed as your favourite nativity character. Then
tonight at the new start time of 11pm we greet Jesus as we celebrate Holy
Communion at St Thomas’ on Bidbury Lane. All are welcome to the first
service of Christmas Day which will finish just after midnight. Finally,
tomorrow on the big day, we all come together at 10am at St Thomas’ for our
Christmas Celebration service. For those wishing to receive communion on
Christmas Day, there will be a short said Holy Communion immediately
following this all-age celebration.

For your information, Sunday 29th is a simple said Holy Communion all
together, 10am at St Thomas’. We then return to our usual pattern on 1st
January with our Midweek Communion and on Sunday 5th with Messy Church at
St Nicholas’ and Holy Communion at St Thomas’.

Whatever you do this Christmas may you and those you love receive the peace
of the Christ Child.

Love, Max & Suzy.
