Revelation 2: 8-11
In our series of looking at what church could be, we reach the church of Smyrna. The Church in Smyrna doesn’t get told what they are doing wrong but instead receives a warning of testing times to come. It seems even when you are doing everything correct life can still be hard. Who would have guessed that, huh? What is our reaction individually and as a church when things go wrong? Is Jesus still king even when those who worship him are journeying through hard times? “Do not be afraid” God tells Smyrna, perhaps we should discover why He says that. This weekend let us explore what God might be saying to Bedhampton though the churches in the Book of Revelation.
